Kovalev will embarrass himself if he tries to out point B Hop and he doesn't have any way to hit him he doesn't know how to deal with

Definitely not close to the danger Tito was, and not close to the boxing skills of Jean Pascal

    Easiest unification of Hop's life

Kovalev became Hopkins' mandatory, but Hopkins refused to fight him. Hopkins said he would never fight Kovalev or Stevenson. Hopkins did say he wants to fight Void...............lol! Kovalev would knock Hopkins out, no doubt about it...............even Dawson beat Hopkins...........

Hopkins has proven himself far too smart and cagey a fighter to rule out of any contest. At this stage in his career, Hopkins wouldn't take the fight if he didn't know he'd win - he's smart enough to pick and choose his battles now - if it ever happened therefore I would bet on Hopkins, however if Hopkins doesn't think he can handle Kovalev then he'd just avoid the fight altogether and pick on easier prey.

You can cut off an opponent but you have to be quick to react or else you'll be outlanded.
Corrales kept cutting off Floyd but was too slow to get off first and got picked apart.

Kolavlev was fast enough to get off first on Skillak and it would be the same against Hopkins.

This just in: Hopkins fans have just elevated Abos Atoev to "honorary Black man" status after finding out he stopped Kovalev in the amateurs.

There's nothing outrageous in suggesting Hopkins would beat Kovalev.
Hopkins might just still be able to present Kovalev with a puzzle he couldn't solve.

Sometimes i wonder if i watch the same fights as everyone else. Kovalev is much more fluid than Stevenson, not to mention slow plodder Cloud who got schooled by a past it Campillo.
I like both of them but while Adonis needs to set and load on his punches, Sergei lets his hands go effortlessly and is much quicker with his combos.

stop lying you jackass. Murat was the mandatory and when he had issues with coming to the US, Kovalev became the mandatory.
Hopkins jumped up and said he'd defend against him. Murat was able to fix his issue though and regained his mandatory spot
