The way his career has gone since the Buglioni loss over a year and a half ago has been disappointing too say the least, he’s fought cans ever since and hasn’t had a fight for 6 months now, has Eddie completely forgotten about him?
I’ve never really been impressed by Burton personally- I doubt Eddie is either. He sells no tickets, has no personality and couldn’t even beat Buglioni when he was the better fighter and others have dealt with Frank in brutal fashion. Last time, I saw him he was struggling to beat a journeyman who ended up walking Burton down. I heard somewhere that Eddie in his desperation with the DAZN stuff was trying to feed him to Bivol- I guess he was trying to get him to sign for him like Beterbiev. Maybe the US thing might open up an unexpected opportunity for Hosea- he won’t be good enough but it is what it is.
Lol fights like that shouldn't even be allowed to be sanctioned. That would rival Eddie chucking in Dave Allen to Luiz Ortiz for 9k.
