Hotboxin with Mike Tyson - Hearns, SRL & Mosley

Unfortunately, it's a bad habit Mike has. He often interrupts his guests and it's irritating.
I enjoy the show, but I hope he corrects that.

 

@McGrain I forgot Tyson was high a lot of the time.

 

I wanted to hear more about Hagler also. And Hearns is hard to understand now. I didn't know most of what he was saying. Maybe my speakers are not good. He even sounds less sharp mentally than he used to. When he retired he didn't sound too bad. Is this progressive even after the career is over?

 

I remember hearing about that, but my friend has that nasal condition also and I understand him fine. Tommy is having some difficulty with something related to boxing. I have seen him when he was younger, and I do not remember things like that. I admire him so I say this in all respect. His interaction with Ray was good. They seem to be good friends. Mike was instigating.

 

The part where Tyson was imitating Howard Cossell's excessive fawning of Leonard was hilarious.

 

Yes.I think Ray and Tommy have always been like brothers but had that sporting rivalry....mike in one of his entertaining tangents (i think u nailed this is part of his eccentric charm as a interviewer) called both smooth m"fers," you"re all charming and suave like youre playing pianos but your killers!

Going back to tommy i noticed after the 2nd barkley fight when his nose was just fubar"d he was starting to talk like this before the maynard fight....youre right though its progressively got worse

 

I hate seeing him. It's his brain not his nose. Sounded terrible like Grady, all hunched over like a hunchback. Clothes look too baggy like a kid playing dress up. Not the Hearns I want to remember.
