Why should Kessler fight a guy that lost already against Bute? :huh Bika had his chances and failed every time. Bika can fight Mora or the other contender champ on PPV to become the Superdoopa Contender Champ. Some ESB kiddies would buy it...
I agree. I think Bika's role now is not to lose against the Top Players but act as a gatekeeper for the Top 1o. I am sure he will make some money-making fights against Lacy/Manfredo, but eventually, he will settle against hyped, young, unbeaten contenders looking to prove themselves against a tough guy, with a difficult style and balls of brass. Whoever takes him on to win deserves much credit. It isn't easy to look good againt Bika.
Kessler's corner did tell Bika to carm down a little with the dirty tricks - much like the referee normally does in a real fight. Kessler couldn't of course risk a stupid injury in sparring leading up to a million dollars fight. As for Bika as opponent for Kessler - I think Bika has better options atm - his contender-fight has brought him a lot of casual boxingfans - people who like a slugfest more than tecnical boxing (and no harm in that - I like one of those once in awhile too ) ... Kessler is relatively known in the US, but not enough for Bika at this point - Bika can earn more and risk less against people like Miranda, Lacy and Andrade. But if the fight could be made, then it would be a fine "going to america-fight" for Kessler - a well known opponent to look good against - and he would look good against Bika.
