:rofl:roflatsch Your user name doesn't indicate any sort of bias on this matter, does it? Face it nuthugger, the guy's Chin was awful like the vast majority of British fighters and the ChinCheckers are simply calling it as it is. We don't work with the blinders of fanboyism on, we just know Chins.
Thanks for the analysis, guys. I guess Hatton couldn't escape where he was from when it came to punch resistance.
Wasn't Tsyzu p4p number 2 at the time? In fact he was so over the hill that Hatton went on to beat Maussa in the same year and was voted fighter of the year by ring magazine.
I think it was less about Hatton's chin and more about his lifestyle, training arrangements, and just crossed stars catching up with him. Hatton was always known for his insane grinding due to impeccable conditioning. The fact is that at some age and at a certain level your body can't afford to be X amount out of shape. I think Hatton may have reached that point AND shaken up his team which resulted in him having less intense training and unfocused coaching. Also, I think we must accept that Hatton should have never been above 140 where he was a beast. I commend him for it and understand the money aspect, but 147 was just way too big for a SUPREMELY FIT Hatton. Had 140 been as deep now and a prime Hatton stepped on the scene? He would be a phenom. I can honestly say Hatton was everything Bradley is, but better with POP. Stop hating on Hatton. Ricky fought two of the best in the world and lost. So what? He stepped up!
