Hatton would have to break down Pac and the corner post.

Floyd will not face Hatton if Floyd Sr. is training Hatton.
Floyd is terrified at the prospect of "losing to his dad". It's why he pulled out of "an easy" huge payday to rematch Oscar. If there is one small iota of a change that Floyd can lose with his dad in the opposite corner, Floyd won't take it.
So, Hatton would have to beat Manny, but look like **** while doing it. Only then will Floyd take on a guy trained by his dad; so, that way, he can stick it to the old man.

Hell I would watch it, another great build up, if rick shows some proper D and takes Pac out. Count me in for the PPV

To make me really want to see a floyd rematch Hatton would have to out-box not just out wrestle manny, sweeping all the rounds on the cards before a mid rounds KO. Then beat out of the top welters like cotto/mosley whilst showing a marked improvement in each fight. Not gonna happen, but if it did i would be shouting for the fight tho still favour FMJ.

TBH tho as a boxing fan if it were made tomorrow i would still watch and prob pay for the ppv (well split with a few mates). worth it just to see floyds senior and junior in the 24/7 series!

Alot of are forgetting something.. Even if Hatton beats Pacman, and i dont care if it's by a 2 round KO... That has absolutely nothing to do with how he'll look against Floyd because it's a whole different fight and after all, Floyd has his number.. EVen a blind man can see that.

Hatton can do whatever he wants with pacman but it's not going to change a thing when facing FLoyd.. I wouldnt even watch the rematch for free.

I dont wanna see a Mayweather-Hatton rematch but I think if Hatton easily beats Pac than itta be easy to build up a mayweather rematch...ID MUCH REATHER SEE HATTON JMM AND PAC FLOYD!

if hatton beats pac well, and looks good doing it he will have deserved another shot at floyd
and if hatton shows even more improvement from his training with mayweather snr, if mayweather jr agrees to fight at 140, if theres a ref who allows hatton to fight on the inside, its a fight i would want to see.
Also i would want hatton to have learnt more in the run up to the pbf flight about trash talk - an aspect of that fight that most people underestimate was just how badly pbf got into his head, if hatton sticks his fingers in his ears every time floyd starts trash talking, then that would help him immensely as well.
Also, more padding on the ring posts this time

That's the way I'm leaning also.

I've thought for a while that even though Manny should win, the betting odds have gotten out of hand. Pac -250 really isn't showing Hatton any respect. Since this is closer to an even money fight for me, it's why I would want to see Hatton do something really "unexpected" to get back in the ring with Floyd. An early KO or a clinic would at least make me look at him as a vastly improved fighter, which he would need to be to even take a few rounds from Floyd.

There was a real cause for Floyd to fight Castillo again.

It's hard right now to make that argument for Hatton. Especially at 147.

I agree, he would have to beat him as comprehensibly as mayweather beat him, but i still dont think it would prove anything, and i wouldnt be interested in seeing a hatton v mayweather rematch, now or after hatton beats pac, which i think he will. i reckon floyd will still opt to fight pac anyway, and hatton will get JMM.

The only advantage I give Hatton if he beats Pacman is that he will have Floyd Sr in his corner, Hatton looked better in his last outing and if he was to beat Pacman and get a rematch with Mayweather, I dont see that fight any different than the first.

Ricky Hatton's only advantage against Mayweather in a rematch would be Floyd Sr in the corner, I think it would effect Floyd Jr mentally.

I'm a huge Hatton fan but to convince me that he can beat Mayweather he would have to knock Manny all the way back to the Phillipines.

Even a dominant win wouldn't be enough for me to want to see a rematch, because there's no chance in hell it would take place at 140. At 147, it's a pointless fight.
