How can someone be P4P #1 without being the best even in his own division?

    #1 Mosley
    #2 Cotto

    #3 Money Mayweather

I look forward to The Ring trying to justify it in their rankings.

    Just doesn't make sense.

In fairness, he's clearly above either of those P4P, and I'm a fan of both Mosley & Cotto, but still, would you put him ahead of Mosley at 147 after that Margarito beat-down? I probably wouldn't right now, yet I'd still have him ahead of Sugar Shane P4P.

The reason he is ahead p4p is because he is continually fighting people below his stature which makes him look out of this world good. If he went up against the top calibre of his own weight class the picture might be totally different. You see, how is someone rated p4p#1 when there is a humongous (?) over there whole division, their WHOLE division? That is not p4p, that is just fantasy.

You can justify Mayweather being ahead of Mosley or vice versa P4P. At WW, Mosley has accomplished more recently, so he should be #1.
