Please don't ever compare SRL to the likes of Floyd the versions of Hagler and Hearns are 1000 better than any 1 win on Floyd's entire resume and that's just 2 names ...Fact !

A lightweight whose biggen than him, and jusr beat a big solid, true WW.

Khan was knocked out by a 140lber. You don't make a big fight with a guy coming of a KO loss. that's dumb.

If its bad for one it must be bad for the other Ray did wait for Hagler to slip and got his ass tapped by The Hitman when he thought he was shot.My point is all fighters make demands or stack the deck to some degree.

No way is Guerrero a cherry pick. Guerrero is multiple division champ. He's ranked by many publications as one of the top 15-20 fighters in the world, and he's the mandatory challenger to Mayweather's belt. Guerrero is the best fighter Mayweather could've fought at Mayweather's optimal weight class. Calling Guerrero a cherry pick just goes to show how over used the term is.

The term is overused and it`s because of Floyd ... Was there ANYONE in boxing clamoring for a PBF/ Guerrero fight ??????????????????????????????????? Floyd just fought at jr. middle, why not Maravilla at a catchweight, Alvarez, Trout . Who was calling for Guerrero ?

    What "era" ?

How do you define this ?

He was a champ while Roy Jones was, is he even ranked higher than Jones ?

He was no 2 behind Pacquaio P4P while prime and was even in the same division , biggest money fight ever and he wouldn't even do the fight.

Here's a better question, why is the standard for Mayweather so much different from every other fighter? The expectation of every other fighter is to take on the best in their weight class. That's what Mayweather has been doing. In his last fight, he even stepped out of his comfort zone to fight the best a division above his own. Why does doing that now require him to do that in every fight? He's clearly not a JMW. He's good enough to beat good fighters at JMW, but competing there full time would take a lot out f him.

You got people saying he needs to fight Martinez at JMW. But why would he make that fight if he can make just as much fighting Guerrero? It wouldn't even necessarily do much to improve his legacy considering Martinez is 38 and would have to come down a full weight class. You mention Trout and Alvarez, but no one is clamoring for a fight with Trout and Alvarez has no notable wins. Again, why should he go outside of his optimal weight classes for those sorts of fights? Now it would actually make sense for Mayweather to take on the winner of the Alvarez/Trout fight.
