Are you saying David Haye helped Groves career? What as a promoter because Haye did none of the stuff Groves did in the ring, completely different fighters, I feel Groves was a more skilled fighter than Haye P4P.

Gave him some huge exposure. See the attendance of the event where GG fought Anderson, for example.

And anyway, GG was with Booth & Haye for an age.

I think Kugan Cassius asked Groves why he never mentioned Booth in their latest video. I haven't seen the video yet but check it out.

“They didn’t go above and beyond to get me to a world title”

Then in his next answer says the degale win was the most satisfying of his career...bit of a kop out...but I guess it’s the political answer without airing your dirty laundry. Hayemaker gave him a platform piggy backing off of the success of David Haye...without that would he even have been on the radar for the Froch fight?

The fallout must have been serious then between Groves and Booth

Also no one really knows the story behind the falling out though as all 3 of them have kept it under wraps pretty well.

The theories I've seen are to do with invesmtnet in Greece which went wrong and Booth taking too much from Groves's purse for the Froch fight.

Can anyone shed anymore light on any of these?

Groves wasn't with Booth for the Froch fight. But weren't they seen having a "moment" after the fight in a hallway?

He left Booth before he boxed Froch.

Edit: BB beat me to it!

Booth falling out with a fighter he's trained, fancy that.

He actually signed to fight Froch whilst he was still with Booth. Booth took him to court after the Froch fight because he still thought he should deserve his fee and he won. Took Groves for 200k or something.

I rate Adam so highly as a trainer and he is obviously one very sharp bloke, but he is just way too greedy for my liking.

He wants to be both trainer AND manager! He must have earned a packet out of Haye, and must still do nicely with his current stable.

My understand is that Booth wanted his usual rate for the Froch fight, Groves wanted to pay him less on a percentage basis. Booth felt that was unfair, Groves felt that was unreasonable and left...Booth then sued for the fee he was contractually entitled to.

Can see it from both sides though to be honest. Trainers make sacrifices too...

He was asked directly by Kugan. No specific response was given other than hinting at Booth both helping and also hindering his career.
