True fans knew what Hop was talking about. You would be laughing your ass off if PAv won, and told Hop to fight more like a white guy. I wouldn't have a problem with that because I would know what PAv was saying. This is boxing. Not every race of fighter fights the same, but that isn't important anyway. What was caught on camera is said behind closed doors anyway. Hop didn't just say that to Pav. He said he would stay on his ass, and that we are a family meaning the boxing community. i feel where ur coming from. i think that a main reason y not too many ppl would be offended if hopkins said to fight more like a mexican is because neither of them r mexican. imagine if margarito told cotto after the fight, u need to fight more like a mexican! lol that could have started a war.
i feel where hopkins is coming from in a sense, but also feel that statements like that shouldn't really be publicized. if he wanted to tell him that, he should have told him behind closed doors where not everybody is hearing it because ppl don't always understand these types of things.
