How comes Parker gets Foreman 2.0 as a replacement where as Stevenson gets such a soft touch ?

Because Parker has balls of steel. He'd fight Usyk if possible

 

He is in that painful space where he makes other fighters look bad as well as beating them and he doesn't bring enough money, at least he has a title though.

I reckon even if a fighter beat him their stock might go down, as it would be by a boring split decision most likely.

 

Worst likely to happen there would be getting schooled and Usyk winning a wide UD. Worst that can happen against Bakole is... bad.

 

Parker is a proper fighting man, Shakur not so much.

 

Maybe he should try calling out De Los Santos

 

Who’s to say other top lightweights weren’t offered the same opportunity as Bakole?

Besides, It’s much more difficult to find a top replacement on a day notice at lower weight classes than it is at HW because of the weight issue as most lightweights probably walk around well above 150 lbs.

He had to agree to fight Bakole. Otherwise people would say "Parker ducked Bakole, he's scared of him". Warren is a genius.

 

The initial replacements for Dubois were; Lawrence Okolie, David Adeleye, and Mourad Aliev. But then Bakole stepped up and offered himself.
Okolie, Adeleye, and Aliev would have been meh fights.
