How did you like the Pascal Dawson fight?

5 for the effort Pascal made. Made my woman stay up to watch it with me, and by round 4 she was out for the count. Fights like this dont help our sport. U got a top ranked LHW champion fighting like a scared twat who's scared to break a nail.

It was alot better than expected. I was thinking Pascal was going to get outboxed bad.

You always gotta love an upset. Man what is it with HBO prospects lately? Its good though i believe all young fighters should lose their 0 so they dont end up trying to live off of it.

 

I liked the fight. I was on edge more than once. I enjoy strategic fights so this was fine with me and the drama was there. Not to mention the atmosphere was great besides the crowd cheering unconditionally for pascal flurries (but that happens in all big time fights involving a hometown fighter). I give it a 7-8. The magnitude was there and two close to equal fighters. What more can you want. The guy with the better gameplan won.

If the highest is 10, and you give this a 10. Then what the hell would you give fights like Corrales - Castillo and Gatti - Ward?

 

6.5 for the main fight, 2.5 for the entire card.

For the fighters:
7.5 for Pascal effort
5 for Dawson.

More like a 3 for Dawson's effort.
It would be a 1 if not for the 11th round.

 

This card was the worst I've seen live in my entire life.

 

I was floored by the fight...

 

I would go about a 6. If it weren't for the drama back and forth between the two, then I would go lower, but Dawson disappointed me. I wonder what was wrong with him.

 

I felt kinda the same way.

The reason I asked is that there wasn't much action but I still found myself on the edge of my seat and found it dramatic.

Can't wait for the rematch!
