I can't remember the exact scoring but I had Haye winning comfortably. Haye clearly out boxed Valuev seems some people deduct points for boxing on the back foot and reward fighters for coming forward and eating punches.
False for all but round twelve, you could have argued it for some rounds but these are not the ones. I've watched the fight without sound and replayed every punch thrown by both fighters, there is a 4.5 minute stretch in the fight where Haye doesn't land a single punch. There are multiple rounds in the fight where it takes Haye one and a half minute before even throwing his first attempted punch, for ****s sake. Btw. off the top of the head, yeah right atsch I box myself as well. The jab to the stomach, especially while running backwards like Haye did, isn't very feared. Perhaps you should try boxing yourself as well, you may learn the difference between blocked punches and scoring ones. So basically your argument is punch stats, and nothing else? Rewatch the fight, the punch stats are total bull****. Haye did not land 98 punches in this fight, it's more like 20.

That was one hell of a boring fight. Haye as a huge favorite was to destroy Valuev or at least do it more convincingly than Holyfield. PPL may see it as a draw cuz Haye did less than Holy who lost the fight. Everyone had expected a huge beating whereas they got one of the biggest borefest that ever took place in boxing.
Had the snoozefest 114-114 even. Valuev looked like an elephant and was ineffective as usuall and Haye was scared like Fraudley and did nothing since Haye knew that he will get the decision because he sold his ass to the germans and they had huge plans to rip off the brtis together afterwards. It was just business. Due to ring generalship the scores in favor of Haye might be justified but no one wins a world title in an foreign country with a scared performance like that.

My bad, on round two you are correct. Read my round by round, Haye lands a right hand in round two. A single right hand. One power punch, in an entire round. I wonder how you get to 98 landed punches at that pace. Good. In that case we both box and you can skip the "internet tough guy" accusations next time.
