No they will always have money...just not millions. In fact I will go as far to say they will most likely always make more money than the financial experts of this thread...

i know. i'm just joking. but i'm sure you also know about iran barkley, ridick bowe, leon spinks and others. i once bumped in luisito espinosa at a costco in daly city near san francisco. the man is now a stock boy. i didn't even want to walk up and talk to him because i thought he would be embarrassed for a fan to see him like that.

I think Patrick Ewing summed it up best with one of the most classic (by classic, I mean a bit ridiculous, and very hilarious) quotes of all time..."we MAKE a lot of money, but we SPEND a lot of money". Timeless. Priceless.

Mike Tyson will always have job opportunities off of his name alone. He once claimed that he could sell out MSG simply by jacking off there....that people would still fill the seats for that. He's probably right too.

I heard Luisito's ex-wife took a lot of his money.

that's what his former trainer told me too. i took boxing classes with his ex-trainer in oakland, ca at a gym called pacific ring sport. he is also owed about $3 million from promoters and managers, and will probably never get that. his ex-trainer's name is dee pooler and he said espinosa called him up and asked if he can help run a boxing class, but he's already suffering from brain dementia and managing a class would be too much for him to handle.

I knew he got stiffed on some purses but I didn't know it was THAT bad.

He used to help train some people over at 3rd St in SF but I don't know if he still does.

Or it could mean begging for free rides on the bus like Iran Barkley or signing gloves at a flea market to pay your bills like Riddick Bowe.

Tyson and Holyfield are in a different category than Riddick Bowe... The star power is different. Which is why you won't find these guys in a flea market ever...

Neither is one is going to be begging for money (even though Holyfield came awfully close begging for money when he was trying to get into the UFC) but that doesn't mean they won't wind up living tight.

Surely they'll never have to pay another meal again...but the IRS doth not **** around these days
