thee best lightweight ever.....and definitely one of the best ever. this guy rose from the ashes on more than one occasion. they don't make them like roberto anymore.
If he was about in this era, everyone would ***** about him quitting. The most overrated fighter to ever lace them up.
What difference did SRL show? And what do you mean by Leonard fighting Durans fight? The second fight wasn't a total shut out, before the no mas incident the fight was actually pretty close
What SRL has to say about Roberto "hands of stone" Duran. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6s8tGmXHJIY (see: 31.43) SRL's reaction to Duran's victory over Davey Moore: "I just looked at Duran and said... Man, you know, you ARE the BEST!...you...you're IT!" ... Sugar Ray Leonard ('beyond The Glory') SRL on Duran's power: "Every punch he hit me with felt like bricks... stone" ... Sugar Ray Leonard ('beyond The Glory') "I am not an animal in my personal life. But in the ring there is an animal inside me. Sometimes it roars when the first bell rings. Sometimes it springs out later in a fight. But i can always feel it there, driving me and pushing me forward. It is what makes me win. It makes me enjoy fighting" -- Roberto Duran
Duran was one of the best fighters of the past 50 years and certainly the greatest lightweight of all time. He was ferocious at 135 and although he carried some of that with him in the higher weight classes, he never quite achieved consistancy
GTFO! Dude is a mayweather fan. That says it all. The whole intro about the "streets" sealed it for me. I could care less about what a dumbass from the streets thinks about boxing. I grew up in the streets. Aint nothin but shittyness and ignorance. Is it not also disgraceful to have a fighter come up almost 3 weight classes, and then STILL come in overweight for the fight? That video was some opinionated bull****. Totally devoid of any kind of boxing knowledge....
