I think someone to beat Wlad must have fast head and waist movement and a constant come forward movement/pressure..............Good upperbody and head movement is a must in order to bore your way inside as you dodge his jab......then you must have alot of power to put him down, once you do get inside.

A good chin to withstand his jabs that do hit home, is also a must.

Chagaev had the right idea; the ONLY idea, really. Its just that he wasn't good enough at it, nor does he have enough power to put Wlad down, once inside.

As someone else said......Tyson's style was the way to beat Wlad. But there is noone who can execute that plan good enough.

And I am not even sure a young TYson, himself, would have been able to penetrate Wlad's size, power, and skill. Tyson couldn't even deal with Holy's jab and skill, and Holy has NOwhere near the power of Wlad, nor is he even close to being the size of Wlad.

Wlad has had problems in the past with aggresive punchers, who come out looking to hurt him, a young Tyson would be too much for him, as for Holyfield I wouldn't pick Wlad over a peak version of him either, hell I thought he beat Lewis in the rematch.
