How do you define "textbook" boxing?

    I agree with the guy who said oscar, cant we consider him textbook?

    Lots of people consider a jab the must have for a textbook fighter.

    Could a swarmer be a textbook fighter then?

    The two fighters who popped into my head after reading the title of the thread were Barrera and Marquez. Both fighters for me do the basics very well and have built off that solid foundation. It helps in their case that both men are tough as nails and were brought up in spit and sawdust gyms.
