    :lol::lol::lol::lol:

Then why not fight one of the other more skillful beltholders instead of John Ruiz? Why not stay at the weight and fight your Mandatory or try and unify? :rofl

So you do indeed stand by your statement? That basically states Joe should have never been a two weight champ?

Roy was not a HW Rico, it was obvious he would have to get the right fights.. You had mammoth skilled HWs in the Klits and Lewis, and massive punchers with fast hands like Tua and Sanders.. Calling it a 'cherry pick' his harsh under those circumstances. It was going to take a lot of money for him to get in the ring with one of those guys.

Why don't you just PM your few fellow fanboys with your revisionist fantasies about Roid Jones, instead of trying to post it on the forum?

Jones fought Ruiz in March 2003, Lewis and Vit K fought each other in June 2003.

Now we know that Lewis was originally going to fight Johnson, and trained accordingly, hence he was out of shape when he faced Vitali.

So if you are even going to suggest that both VK and Lewis were running scared of Jones, so he was forced to fight Ruiz instead, you're an even bigger **** than you act.

No, your boy Roid, went picking for Ruiz, and then got the fvck out in case he had to fight someone with a pulse, or someone who wouldn't accept the corrupt Nady.

I wouldn't be in the least surprised if it comes out later that it was all a put up job by Yanks desperate to equal Fitz's record of a former Middle winning a Heavy title. We all know Yanks don't like being second best.

He was probably given a licence to take steroids, and someone elses urine tested. Everyone and his dog knows that Ruiz always had only one MO, jab grab, and maul. Not illegal ( despite ******ed Yanks, and fanboys opinions ) so Nady was told not to allow this, thus removing Ruiz's only slender chance.

A predetermined result if ever there was one.

But it is irrelevant, as the Roid cheat got the fvck out, and has since been brutalised, hopefully to continue, until he ends up like " cleaner " fighters such as Watson, and McClellan.

Instead of keep writing your imbecilic fanboy nonsense with links to what Jones said, or some idiot Yank boxing writer reported from Jones big mouth, either show us copies of faxed offers to Lewis's or Klitchko's management companies when he fist decided he wanted to go to Heavyweight, then show us the rejections, plus the reasons why these alleged offers were rejected FORCING him to fight Ruiz instead, or STFU.

    As I stated above.

Fitz took the ONLY option, Spinks took the TOUGHTEST, Jones took the GARBAGE option. Get over it.

His initial target was Holyfield, before Ruiz.

He didn't want to stay and have a run at HW, he was just looking to make huge money against Tyson and Lewis.

Read all of the links on here, there's now quite a few of them all containing interesting information.

I really wish Holy had beaten Ruiz, people just hate Ruiz to the point of discrediting Roy's win.. But would Holyfield have changed anything? I am sure they would just rip him for fighting a shot Holyfield.. Nothing would be good enough. Hell, some crazy miracle Roy had beat Lewis, you can bet they would be saying Roy had to wait for Lewis to look bad.

    Wow!

Where do I even start with this ****?

Who the f**k has said anything about Roy being forced into fighting Ruiz, because Lewis and Vitali were running scared???

Who has even suggested such a thing???

Roy met with Holyfield late 2001, before he fought Ruiz for the 3rd time. Holyfield then drew with Ruiz, and Ruiz kept the belt. Roy then passed up on the opportunity of fighting Holy, and remained at 175 for another year, before targeting Ruiz.

AFTER Ruiz, he met with Lewis and Tyson to discuss potential fights. There's around 7 different links on this thread that PROVE that.

If you're too ignorant to read them, and take the information on board, then that's on you.

    You're such a f***ing idiot!

You hate Roy that much, you've even brought Jay Nady into the argument. That's even sadder than talking about steel and that northern **** Margaret Thatcher. Ha! Norman Stone was screaming at Ruiz to stop waiting on him and to get closer. Ruiz had never fought anyone as fast. Roy was pot shotting him in the centre of the ring, and kept him at a distance for the majority of the fight.

If you don't believe that Roy was serious about fighting Lewis, then that's on you. The onus is on you to prove it.

Again, there's various links that tell us that Murad had spoken to Lewis's advisors, and both Lewis and Roy had spoken to each other.

Now if Roy had no intentions of fighting Lewis, why would Lewis have spoken to Roy, and how come we've never heard anything from Lewis regarding Roy not being serious?

You've got all those links that include Lewis saying that he was up for 3 or more fights, only to change his mind shortly after, to announce his retirement stating that he could no longer give 100% and wasn't motivated.

So f**k off, and go and find a link where Lewis says either that Roy was time wasting, wanting too much money, or wouldn't sign a contract etc.

    You're a joke!

I'm telling you, if Roy had've beaten Lewis, people would have said that Lewis was fat, old, and shot because he struggled with Vitali.

The same applies to Tyson and Holy, although they'd have had more than a point regarding Tyson.

There's people on here that wouldn't have given Roy credit if he'd have knocked out Benn and Liles in a round.

There's guys on here like Bat the Man asking why he didn't fight Victor Cordorba, Ray Close and Darrin Van Horn?

    They're just haters.
