How do you judge a fight?

    I get so drunk I can hardly tell which fighter is which, then I try to score every round in favour of the A-side, though I can barely hold a pencil by this point so it's easier said then done.

    Once I'm sober my cards usually align pretty well with the official one so I must be doing something right.

    You judge by damage done. That’s it really. It’s why a single knockdown can win you a round you were losing clearly. Ring generalship, effective aggression etc are newer propositions to avoid draws and should only really be taken into account when you are trying to divide a close round.

    This isn’t the amateurs.

    Determining who inflicted more damage done isn't always easy. Thre are cases when one fighter is inflicting more damage while his opponent is out jabbing him from the outside. Many on this forum have chosen to pretty much ignore the damage done argument and score rounds based on who is throwing more punches.

    I see who was floored more often than the other.
