Nikolai Valuev wound up and hit Monty Barrett with everything he had. Barrett got back up. If Gerorge Foreman had hit him like that, Barrett would have been taken straight to the hospital, on a stretcher.

I am sure that Foreman hits harder than Valuev... but come on already.:-(

Overall power I give him a 4. For a large heavyweight I give him a 2. Valuev has been a big dissapointment.

    He has decent power.

I'd say he's around 6. He has KO'd some tough guys before.

We all know that Valuev is not the biggest puncher out there, but neither Bidenko nor Lyiakhovich nor Bergeron are glass chinned bums who cant fight.
Honour where honour is due.He beat them.Point!
His firepower? Relatively weak for such a big fellow, but he has other weapons in his arsenal.

I find it hard to vote considering the gap between Zuri Lawrence's power and Shavers or Foreman's is only 9 places.

But anyway, I'd say around 2 to 2.5.

Taking into account his sheer size, he gets a negative score.

I'd say 3. I mean he had a lot of stoppages, but you can expect Winky Wright to knock Vic Darchinyan out if he hits him flush. He's 100 pounds heavier than his opponents, of course he have a lot of stoppages. But for his size, it's a 3 out of 10.

he ko'd barrett, etienne, beck, levin, vidoz and some others, so there must be at least some power. he rarely puts everything in his punches to not get exposed because he is so slow. but he is no puncher by any means.
