Either one of these guys could have made the other one fight. Both chose not to for the same reason, that is, to avoid the risk of getting hit with anything significant.

Haye's problem was that he can never win in that scenario and Wlad always can. That is why the impetus was on David to make Wlad fight and putting one's hands down 4 feet away from Wlad to entice him in is not going to get the job done as the exclusive tactic to make Wlad fight.

Nonetheless, Wlad gets a 6 and that is being generous.

    Wlad sucked in this fight.

he was running alot himself too just less than haye. no accuracy, his jab didnt work nor his world famous right hand, but he sure didnt disappoint us in every department and showed he still had alot of the skills in greco-roman intact.
he looked like he wanted to **** haye in there, not fight him! and haye looked like he was OK with that

    :rofl

it's embarrassing stuff, Adamek was an embarrassment, Haye on an off night was 10x better in the Wlad fight and he would himself wipe out that little muppet Adamek.

7-8 outta 10...it was a boxing lesson..but i thought he could have finished him in the 12th once he caught haye walking onto a short right..anyway i was happy he did it the way he did..its harder to get over a complete boxing lesson that you had to endure for 12 painful rounds and couldnt do anything to stop it..at least if you get caught and knocked out you can have your excuses

When a guy stands infront of you with his hands by his waist and you can barely land a punch, sorry, that's not impressive to me.

7/10 overall Wlad was impressive, his defence was very good throughout the fight which made it hard for Haye to land anything meaningful, not a complete boxing lesson like ive seen some people say as Haye came back and landed a few half decent shots and won a few rounds. I felt overall that Wlad was the more active boxer and won because of that, when Haye set himself to punch he was already completley out of range, in reality Wlad had the better gameplan and was a little to big for Haye to deal with, had Haye been a little more forthright in his attacks he may have done a little better, he tagged Wlad hard in the 12th when he became a little more active, if he had tried to intimidate Wlad from the start he may have had more success.

PS. contrary to popular belief Wlad was also to blame for how bad the fight looked at times not just Haye.

.i agree with some of this..but the 12th round was basiclly a mini version of the rest of the fight..haye came out and tryd at the start he even landed a gd shot on wlad tho when wlad caught him with the short right haye retreated and was happy to take the 12 round ud loss..

ps the only thing wlad was guilty of was not throwing more than he did..but why should he when haye was making it easy for him??

He was at his best imo. Maybe he wasn't exciting, but in terms of discipline & concentration, its probably the best I've seen him. He needed to be at his best to, cause whilst Haye was nullified, if Wlad would of let his discipline & concentration slip for a moment, who knows, he might of presented Haye with an avenue into the fight.

I'm not a fan of Wlad per say, but I have a lot of respect for what he does.
