How do you see a Joshua v Whyte Rematch Playing out?

AJ by brutal knockout.

 

Being trained by Mark Tibbs is not an advantage in my opinion. Would be much better off being trained by Jimmy Tibbs.

Even in the first fight Whyte had him hurt but was unable to finish.

He had no fluidity there looked like he was carrying an injury, and it looked like a temple shot that did him before the uppercut KO

Joshua a better combo puncher but Whyte hits harder.

 

Whyte is the most improved heavyweight and AJ is the most regressed in terms of skills and IQ. AJ really is a basic boxing brain with tremendous physical gifts.

Whyte will give AJ a serious run for his money next time out. He is more patient and knows how control distance better. But Whyte will need to be in abosolute tip top shape. He really needs to improve his pacing and output and sharpen up his half decent counterpunching ability. He still has balance issues which are getting better but Dillian

 

Whyte literally had one arm in the first fight and was still very raw as a pro and he had Joshua on ***** Street rocking and rolling and running away, he almost made AJ quit with a body shot

Well Whyte has improved a lot since then and is injury free, Whyte still isn't great or anything but I'd back him to do the bodybuilder now

 

AJ fighting off the back foot with a safety first approach and winning rounds comfortably, going for the kill once Whyte starts to look tired and knocking him out.

 

With Joshua knocking him out again.

I don't see the need for a rematch. Besides getting rocked, Joshua dominated the fight.

 

Don’t think Whyte is more resilient at all. He still has issues with his weight fluctuations and he has been dropped a few times since Joshua knocked him out so we know he can be put down and out.

 

I think Whyte would loose again...

 

Why not?

Whyte was like 8/1 going into that fight, even though he had a win over him in the Ams.

Not many gave him a chance due to AJ winning Gold and obliterating all his opponents in the pro ranks fast, yet he made it competitive and was close to winning. Now he’s 6/4 the market reflects the change in trajectories of their careers since that fight.

 

Of course he deserves a title shot, otherwise what’s the point in mandatories?

Many a more undeserved boxer has been handed a world title shot whereas Whyte has actually beaten plenty of top 15 HWs already.

 

Easy win for Joshua. Mid rounds KO.

 

I like Whytes chances in the rematch. The Ruiz beatdown will always raise the suspiscion if AJ can really endure another slugfest. I highly doubt it.

 

Jimmy is in isolation he probably has not seen another human since March
