Another thing that bothers me is how people keep bringing up how Pac will knock out JMM due to the first fight and the 3 KD's.
JMM was never even hurt. He got caught good and lost balance. Anyone who has boxed before knows that sometimes you go down from somebody just catching you good and your feet not being set right. Proof of this is that his legs never once wobbled as he got up.

I belive however this will be a very tough fight for JMM and that he has to be perfect all night to pull this off since Pac is a freak of nature.
I do see Marquez maybe getting knocked down once if he gets sloppy however that should wake him up and keep him on his toes the rest of the fight.

I don't really know at this time. All I can picture right now is Pacquiao's head will be snapping back due to JMM's uppercut and also JMM kissing the canvas again.
Its a 50/50 for me right now and i hope this fight will not turned out to be another Pac/Barrera 2.

You seem to forget MAB had already achieved everything he wanted in his career. JMM hasnt. This fight could make him that superstar he always wanted to be but never could.

This is one of the key factors why im pulling for JMM. He is hungry for attention and he has the heart and skillset to pull it off.

Have you watched the first fight noob!?
Im pretty sure JMM was landing some nice combinations and uppercuts on manny almost looked like a bobble head. Anyways i hate to talk **** about Pac since he is a good fighter. His fans are annoying but he is a good guy and i hope the best for both of them.

I want JMM to win since i have liked his style for a while now.

    1. Pac has improved. Yes. Has he improved enough to outbox the master boxer in JMM. HELL NO!! I hope he tried to outbox Marquez like he did MAB. Its the worst strategy for him. shows how much you know.
    2. He beat a scared MAB whose sole purpose was to get paid and make it out on his feet.
    3. Barrera did not beat Marquez. It was competitive because Barrera actually traded with Marquez which if he had done with Pac he woulda had a pretty close fight too. Competitive rounds yet Marquez won by quite a margin.
    4. He was never hurt any of those times. He got back up and kept fighting instead of stumbling around which is what hurt fighters do.
    5. LEARN SOME BOXING NOOB!!!!

We can all have our own opinions when analyzing fights. You will never win and i will never win its all opinions.
However you keep mentioning that Pac will knock Marquez out if he chooses to slug it out. Yes I am aware of that as mostly everyone on this forum.
I never said Marquez would slug it out with Pac did i?
He is going to be countering but more than likely with a little more power behind the punches so he can do more damage.
Dont count Marquez out just yet. Last time people did was the first round of the Pac fight and look what he went on to do.

Do you actually think Pac has improved so much???
Watch the MAB fight again. It was nothing but basic boxing which works when your opponent is not eager to trade and when they did MAB got the best of him in quite a few exchanges. Im not saying all of them because he cerntainly got beat in some of them but he was doing good in exchanging with this "improved" Pac.
You honestly think JMM wont do better exchanging with Pac and boxing like MAB did??
think about it thoroughly before you get back to me....

    Exactly!

Boxing journalist and historians recoginize the talent of JMM, but people out on the street dont regard him in the same breath that they do MAB and Morales........

.......this is what is burning inside and driving JMM at the age of 34.

Respect! Thats the driving force. In one svelte scoop, JMM knows that it will come with a clear hard fought victory of Manny Pacquiao!

Again, fair points......but I think that the Morales victories for Pac is what has the Pac supporters on cloud nine.

Listen, those were nice victories for Manny Pacquiao. He certainly did'nt beat a slouch.

.....but lets not go overboard either and overcredit them as if he had beaten a fighter who was riding on all his faculties......

.....lets not forget that the fight before Morales faced Pac in rematches, he lost and looked completely like crap, in a fight where he looked slow and lethargic against Raheem.

.....Morales looked to have lost several dimensions to himself in his performance against Raheem. Then the KO losses to Pac followed.

Truthfully, had it not been for Morales' just complete awful performance against Raheem where he looked like an old fighter with slowed reflexes who could'nt pull the trigger.....I'd most likely would be more impressed with Pac's KO's over him.
.....but after that performance over Raheem, how can a neutral observer be overly impressed with what followed with Pac against Morales.

Those who are of the thinking that because Pac ran right through Morales after Morales had thoroughly outboxed him......that he can do the same to JMM who has'nt shown any signs of significant deterioration as Morales showed vs Raheem......are in for the shock of there boxing observing life!

Sting, watch those Morales fights.....his legs were on shaky ground to begin with, and he was slow as Mollases.
Morales forte has never been speed, but God he was awfully slow against Pac in those rematches.....and particularly the last match!

Morales did'nt have the reflexes or the speed to neutralize Pac and keep him honest......... JMM has'nt shown any signs that this will happen to him!

......and you're absolutely correct Sting, this is the site to be at if you want to chat boxing. I've tried other sites as well, and we do have our fair share of bozos, but no question ESB is the best boxing message board around!:yep

And let's not forget the chin of JMM..:yep

I doubt if JMM will actually engage Pac as well. He will try to outbox Pac, but to engage him is laughable..

I hope JMM is not counting on his Left/Right/Left Upper combo coz that aint working in 2008.
