Pacquaio loves to move in, punch, and out again. Thing is this is most effective if the other fighter is quite stationary and flat-footed like Oscar and Diaz Counter punching/timing him on the way in has worked against Pacquaio in the past; and it'll be interesting to see how he handles somone who comes at him incessantly. Hatton will use his feet, and he will throw back every time Pacquaio is in range. I think we'll know very early in this fight how it will play out. If Pacman looks small in comparison and seems uncomfortable when they clinch, he'll lose a gruelling fight. If he matches Hatton up close he'll win by a late stoppage IMO.
Pacquiao is just too good for The Hitman imo...Ricky's game is suited for Manny. This will be like the Diaz fight but more competitive.
Their last five fights 5. Juan Urango - Won a very (disapointing) fight on points but still won clear against a previously undefeated powerhouse at 140 lbs and a 2nd IBF LWWT title. Comparable to Manny's 12 UD against veteran but dangerous MAB. 4. Castillo- TKO on a guy who had rematched and TKOed Corrales in one of the best confrontations of modern history. Castillo a little on the slide-way down but still comparable to Erik Morales in Manny's third meeting with him or to ODLH just now. 3. Mayweather - Destroyed but Manny never fought Mayweather. Manny fought JMM instead and the result is not very impressive. 2. Lazcano - Hardly impressive and so was Manny's win over O. Larios in the Philipines. 1. Malignaggi - Only one person was throwing punches, the same as against David Diaz. RH is ready to fight p4p n1 because he already fougth one and his former conqueror said that that was a tough fight. The Hattton-Pacquiao fight makes sense from a finantial/business/physical triple standpoint.
