How does Beterbiev do in the 1940s

For most of my life, I considered Robinson as being the GOAT.

But over the past 4-5 years, I’ve studied the life and career of Harry Greb. And what he did, was just incredible.

From what we know of him, he had nowhere near the skill set of Robinson. But what he achieved, with his stature, style and circumstances, was just remarkable.

So I don’t know.

It’s subjective isn’t it.

There’ll never be universal agreement.

I don't know either really. I don't think one guy has clearly set himself apart.

Beterbiev is an all-time great.

If he was fighting back then, he beats everyone who wasn't an all-time great at 175 and heavyweight.

And he beats his fair share of greats, too. Excellent fighter. Great puncher.

You make a valid point about universal agreement, I like your goodself thought Robinson was the best for decades, sure I had read articles' about Greb, but not many in-depth ones, it was only over the past 20 years or so , that I became acquainted with his career and accomplishments in their entirety, and what accomplishments they are, so he is , and will remain, I would think, my all time No1, after him you can mix in Robinson, Armstrong, Langford, in any order you choose, am happy with any perm.
