How does Charlie Mitchell rank pound for pound.

Hello,

What do you guys think of Charlie Mitchell's pound for pound status going off of his record? Where do you guys have him ranked?

 

In the street or pub,very highly.

 

I don't know he did fight some bigger guys like, Herbert Mario Slade, and Patsy Cardiff. Even took the best heavyweight of the time Sullivan to a draw in 1888.

At 155lbs he was one of the best heavyweight contenders of his era, perhaps even the best for a short time.

I think that we have to rate him very highly pound for pound, perhaps in the same category as Kid McCoy.
