It's next to impossible . . . if this fight happens.

PBF is a smart all rounded skilled fighter . . . he'll use his advantages to the max to win that fight unscratched.

I agree. Usually these type matches end with a decision or cuts type stoppage for the boxer against the puncher.

Hatton is very fast & accurate though and his punch output is usually high so that does make it interesting, but I'd have to go with Floyd by decision since Hatton has a good chin.

It could always end in a TKO stoppage for Floyd if the ref & doctor deem the cuts he inflicts on Hatton to be too much for Ricky to continue..............

No way. Hatton will eventually test the body & the head, I think he can hurt Floyd but not enough or often enough to stop PBF.

A possibility but Ricky hasn't had as many cut problems recently and has (IMO) the best cutman in the business.

    Great analysis!

    Let me answer like this:

    1. Hatton is always in unbelievable shape.
    2. Hatton cuts the ring off well, but not well enough.
    3. Hatton hardly throws the jab at all, but moves his head well, early in the fight anyway.
    4. Hatton always attacks the body.
    5. Hatton always fights a bit dirty.
    5. Hatton always throws a lot of punches.

Still, I think PBF is too fast, his defense too good & he fights off his bhack foot better than just about any other fighter in a long time.

Floyd's speed & defense will be his undoing.

Oh yes I'm not saying PBF is not going to be hit . . . but like you said it's not going to be enough. :D Because PBF will move back, slide to the left or right to avoid a follow up hit.

You need a jab to beat Floyd and ricky does not have one. DeLahoya gave Floyd trouble with his, but he didn't throw it enough. Hatton isn't going to beat Floyd for that reason. Even if he throws enough jabs, he has those T-Rex arms so he won't be effective anyway. Mayweather by brutal, one sided, UD.

Could be but cuts have been a problem in the past & Floyd is fast & accurate.

Great fight & I hope it happens.

Too be honest Hattton doesn't have a chance in this fight. He doesn't have what it takes. Short arms bad defense, lack of a real outside boxing game, his jab is virtually nonexistent and against PBF that's your ass. He can get away with that falling in against people who are slow, with poor footwork and can't fight off thier back foot and boxers who aren't great counter punchers but PBF has all of this. All that falling in will play right into PBF's hands when he's getting countered to hell and back. PBF will figure him out and Hatton will get fustrated in the mid rounds and the fight will turn into a foul fest on Hatton's part. Hatton only knows how to fight one way and against a ring general like PBF that spells doom. :deal

Exactly. I believe Hatton will try his best & land a few but not the combos that are probably nec. to KO Floyd.

I think PBF will fight alot like he did against DlH, circling, using the full ring; covering up on the ropes. If anybody can take a body assualt its PBF his roadwork and situp routine is ridduculous. Hatton will eat a lot of crips punches the whole night, I expect the fight to be ugly on the inside; and for Floyd to dominate on the outside. It will be a good fight, but Hatton will be outclassed.

I don't think it will be as 1 sided as that but a clear UD for PBF. Hatton is better than that anyway. He will work his way in eventually but his speed won't match Floyd's and he won't land punches in the sucession and I think that's nec. to defeat PBF myself. A younger faster Oscar would have a chance...............and I practically hate Oscar. :yep

Hatton does hit hard though & he has a great punch output early so don't be surprised to see him win a few early rounds in a bit of a foul-fest.

Hatton has a fighters chance at all times once the bell sounds. Floyd has all the tools to off set Rickys aggressive style and make him pay while he is doing it. So Mayweather will be racking up the points while Hatton will be trying to land one flush. And thats what will keep us on the edge of our seats, cause it only takes one.

Pretty fast against slow fighters yeah. He wasnt fast against Luis Collazo. Hatton will get murdered in the ring. Floyd is way too good for him plain and simple

Floyd don't run, He uses his feet and reflexes.. but Hatton does HOLD. He's GREAT at it, Especially holding and hittting.
