Huge fan of Parker and his team in general, real gentlemen.

Him and Tyson are really close. I reckon with the inevitable belt fragmentation they will never fight.

I mean, money talks and they could put it aside for one night, but they do not want to fight each other. If Parker had one of the belts tyson wouldn’t be interested in chasing it, and likewise with Parker.

I still view Parker as a gun shy fighter. He beat Ruiz because Ruiz threw even less punches that he did, some say there was bais on the scorecards as the fight was held in New Zealand.

If they fought again, I'd pick Ruiz.

Parker is a classy guy and top boxer.

He’s going to be in the mix for at least the next 5 years. Wouldn’t surprise me if he picked up a belt again because they might be like pass the parcel soon.

I dont know how Parkers stock has risen

He is nowhere near a title shot despite having a victory over Ruiz Jr

    Guys bang average

Ill alway take notice of him but dont see him getting any better

He's an elite heavyweight. Always wanted to see how Parker vs Wilder goes down.

Fury is right though, Parker is a poor man's Tyson Fury.

Same as always. Good B+ level HW.. Does nothing special though. Lost to Whyte & Joshua.. Beat Ruiz & Fury in close fights..

    He's not elite.

He has youth and time on his side.

Already won a title. He will improve and Hel still be top 10 at least in 5 years

That’s the thing with Parker. His good nature. Loyalty. He would never leave him

    Which is respectable
But in a short career such as boxing quite naive

Parker's still young but I feel he's peaked, both mentally and physically. We've essentially seen the best he has to offer and it's not good enough to beat the absolute cream of the division. He's a good kid, but he's not destined for a particularly successful career relative to his level of potential because he refuses to grow or make tough decisions regarding his own future.

I'll continue to watch him, as I enjoy and respect him as a fighter, but I suspect it's going to be a frustrating journey.

No. He didnt "beat" Ruiz outside of what the scorecards said. As far as in the ring watching that fight I thought both fighters acquitted themselves well and it was a close fight which I had Ruiz winning. It doesnt make me change my opinion much on Parker as I already think highly of him but he had his chance vs AJ and didnt even sniff the type of success Ruiz did. If anything it tells me that Ruiz has improved far more than Parker has since that fight.

I see the same thing but I cant put my finger on what's missing with him. I think hes one of those guys that is good at a lot of things but isnt great at anything.
