If Quarry was around today, and lived clean, with modern PED knowledge and weight cutting, he could probably make 175 on a day before weigh in, and be around 190 or more by fight time. He'd be leaner, stronger, and quicker than he ever was. If he fought at Cruiserweight he'd still be fighting taller, longer fighters (the same size or bigger than he actually fought) who would out weigh him by the time they got in the ring by 10-15 pounds. Giving up size fight after fight is tough and increases wear and tear. Of course Quarry's out of ring lifestyle didn't help him either.

For me, the best Quarry I've ever seen on video was when he was young, and lean (193 pounds) vs. Alex Miteff. Later, when he weighed in the upper 190s he didn't carry the weight like he did in the Miteff fight. Today, if he gained muscle, while cutting fat, he'd be able to dry out and lose weight more effectively because muscle contains more water than fat.

Good post.
Quarry turned pro at 20 at 183 pounds. If he turned pro in 2019, at 20, it would be at 168 and 160 wouldn't be out of the question.
