How does Wilder beat Joshua.... By swinging his usual windmills, and hoping he gets in a lucky shot. Discussion over.
Of course he is. Take away his freaky power and what top 10 guys does he beat? Top 15? I can't think of any I would confidentially pick wilder to win if he had, say Tyson Fury's punch power. So I would say yes he is a bum with a punchers chance. I agree, he can k.o AJ with one punch. Thats my point...
I'm a believer in Wilder's power. How can you not be? As he said prior to the Fury fight, "I only need to be perfect for two seconds." It's the same here. I could see Wilder's right bouncing off AJ's head and that's that. The longer the fight goes, the more Wilder is allowed breathing room, AJ is in danger. It doesn't matter how many technical sins he commits. He has a quick, devastating cross. Joshua's plan against Wilder is simple - diffuse the bomb. He is effective where Wilder is uncomfortable. Mid-range. Yes, Wilder shortens his punches from time to time, but that's generally to tweak his trajectory with incoming targets. AJ needs to time his advances, use his bulk to get the lanky bomber off balance, and then bum rush him with the kind of hooks and uppercuts he usually ends fights with. AJ will be the favourite but it's a shootout.
Yeah I agree with what you say on taking Wilder power away.. but give someone like David Price, Wilder power and you stil have David Price. HAHAHAHAHA Wilder has built around what he has, his other gifts are range and speed. and his durable/
Joshua’s chin is far from glass but definitely not granite. Joshua will tire out and then you hit him with the bomb
