yeah, i heard something similar to that. only the strong survived. they breeded the strongest slaves together like they do animals. so the genes get passed down. kinda messed up but it is what is.

    :lol::patsch

    clueless.

horses have been bred for millania for perticulars types. and they are ready to breed another batch within a year or 2. you need to be 14 at a pinch to be able to have a kid.

you think that matters over barely a 200 year period after 100 years of intermingling with lesser desirables.

not just that, you could make the arguement that because almost all the slaves brought over where captured prisoners of war that they where weaker or slower.

cool it people can't believe that people believe the hype.

poorer neighborhoods with outlets for athletic accomplishment has led many boxers, basketballers, nfl players (that america seem to be obsessed with the stereotype) to have well lived lives. where as in richer white nighbourhoods why would you play ball if you have a company under your father? and as the black middleclass rises the more accesses of opportunity are created. which is why post communist euro block has dominated boxing in the past 7 years and why the nfl and the basketball is now getting flooded.

    the **** out people.

gamboa is an athlete, a boxer and well trained ever since he was 12. he has been groomed for this by the cubans. fought hard to get out of the oppressive establishment, traveled to europe, signed with a dodgy promoter, fought regularly and didnt clown around with subpar comp. why? because he wants to be the best in the world. and he ****ing knows it.

so why is he so jacked/musclar?

    because he supposed to be.

Exactly lmfao you can't change a billion years of genetics in only 200 years from "selective breeding " rofl these people will believe anything the media tells them. Anyone who is ripped as **** (not skinny) and says they don't do any physical activity is LYING.

What Im saying is that Slave Owners practiced Eugenics/selective breeding. For the purpose of making stronger slaves with more endurance. That is a fact.

Now if it worked or not can be debated.

Some white guys can have 12% bodyfat and only have a four-pack with visible flab. Everyone carries weight differently. All there is to it.

By the way, normal is often aesthetically fat. You can be healthy and skinny-fat.

Humans do this all the time on socioeconomic grounds, just as we accelerate our evolution through advances in nutrition and reliance on technology (the latter for better or worse). Civilization allows for such and is what separates humanity from nature.

200 years of selection cannot offset 1 billion+ years of genetics sorry to tell you. I don't know why some black people like to talk about genetics like some kind of Hitler obsessed wacko, you're just downplaying all the top black athletes dedication and years of blood sweat and tears.......as if you can become lebron james by sitting on the couch eating cheetoes because you have the same skin color as him.

Why not be proud of hard work and success? Why not be proud of something you worked to earn yourself?

advances in nutrition and technology should improve the standard of living and make life easier for people. isn't this the opposite of natural selection where weakness gets bred out?

They do improve the standard, they make the human race stronger as a whole. Socioeconomic discrimination, however (where the better off, on average, live healthier lifestyles and have superior nutrition--see fruit/vegetable prices vs junk food prices in the US--and tend to segregate themselves), leads to more effective natural selection. That accelerates the phasing out of the weak. In the US, we used to have more marriages and procreation across social classes. That's dramatically decreased since the '80s, so in that way, natural selection has become more efficient as the strong choose the strong. At the same time, it doesn't stop the poor from having more children on average...

I see what you mean, though, as the poor don't outright die often these days in most parts of the world--they do die younger, though, and live in an isolated underclass where there isn't much cross-over potential (upward mobility).

It's a matter of averages, but as a whole, civilization and its technology (that includes everything from written language to medicine and modern nutrition) has led to more effective natural selection than what we have in nature--but being human also allows us to go against our rational interests and do things not in the best interests of the gene pool. That's why people oppose systematic eugenics: they have hearts. In that way, we interfere with evolution. It's a balance, but I think overall, we accelerate our evolution through technology and the constructs of civilization.

natural selection is random. putting tall people to create some sproggs doesnt mean they are more advanced if they are taller or average hieght. it's just a trend
