How effective can Cotto.....

    I disagree. Looking at his weigh-ins at 147 Cotto is still having weight problems. In 154 he could get to the weight without problems, with no killer dehydration so he could be even stronger, faster and better.

    How on earth could he get down to 140 for years is unbelievable. In his last fights down there he looked like a dead man.

    And that's the Quintana fight at 147. Still a lot of dehydration there.

    cotto can be effective enough to beat anybody in the painfully mediocre 154 division

    he can win a title, but he won't be dominant.

    Quite a short fella, but has the frame to carry an extra seven pounds, and with 154 not being the greatest in terms of talent, is likely to succeed.

    May as well move up now, win a title, vacate and then move back down, like Mayweather did.

    He's the same height as Montell Griffin and DM Qawi. Cotto can own 154 now.
