It was a very good fight, stained by a bad decision.

One of the best MW clashes in years. Good judging too,the right man won it, but a shame someone had to lose

I saw a lot of amazing defensive craft here, pretty impressive.

One of the best fights at that level I've seen in a while.

Loved every minute of every round.

It felt like I was watching a scripted sparring match.

I thought it was a very good fight but fell short of being a classic in regards to drama. You had plenty of action and swings in momentum. It didn't fail to meet the hype for me which is so often the case for big fights. This was better than the first fight for me.

I give it 8/10. I thought the fist was a 6.5/10. The first fight was more like tag, the second fight, as evidenced by the damage each man incurred, they closed the distance and landed more often and with harder shots.

Overall I thought it was a very exciting fight I wouldn't mind seeing them go at it again. I will forever wonder why GGG never went to body - was he afraid of a counter? Was there a sparring history between them where he knocked out Canelo and thought he could do it again? I also wonder what a 33 yo GGG vs 25 yo Canelo would have been like.

I did have GGG winning both fights 115-113 although I agree, last night could go either way - some very close rounds.

Really entertaining. Two of the best guys p4p going at it. GGG is fading, the outcome would have been different three years ago, but that fight was near perfect. I was cheering for GGG, but I thought Canelo edged it.

    Totally and utterly absorbing.

Both in the pocket punch picking for 12 rounds,no breathers or looking to spoil. It was a clinic and I loved every second.

I thought it was trash. You want to watch an exciting fight fought in a phonebooth, watch Toney vs Jirov. Now that was a great fight. Canelo refused to throw combos.

    The commentary sucked, big time.

Now that fight is what I call a" Saturday Night Fight " Both fighters came with the intent to do great bodily harm. I was screaming at the TV and clapping at the vicious combos by both fighters. Canelo had GGG's face looking like it had been through a meat grinder and GGG had Canelo's head jumping like a jack in the box. GGG had Canelo ready to go in two separate rounds but his age betrayed him and he couldn't muster that burst of energy to finish him. Canelo got lucky three times in that fight. Twice in the ring and then with the decision. He fought the best fight of his life and displayed the heart of a champion but GGG matched and surpassed his efforts in my opinion.

It was a fantastic fight, both guys deserved to come out of that win - I felt like the first one was closer to a GGG win and this one was closer to a draw but can accept both outcomes, just a strange coincidence that both ended up with the best possible "understandable" outcomes ending up in Canelo's favour.

Is what it is, though - can't complain having a fight like this in a year where we've already been treated to a bunch of the "best fighting the best in the division" type fights. It's the first fight in a while I've been gutted that the 12th had already arrived
