HOW exactly could Marciano beat Tyson?

I do enjoy your comments since each time you take finger to keypad you reinforce your amateur status. Only a princess would call a man like Trevor Berbick a coward.

SQ: Size and talent , not size alone. I say Langford destroys Marciano because I believe he was much better. He certainly fought much better competition. I also think Thomas, Berbick and Tate all had shots at beating the versions of Charles and Walcott Marciano fought. Charles lost to Nino Valdez, Harold Johnson and Rex Layne the year before he fought Marciano. Walcott lost to Layne, Maxim and Elmer Rey in his post Depression prime period. Neither Charles (at heavyweight) or Walcott (at his best) were consistant world beaters. In fact isn't it interesting both fought their best fight as old men v.s. Rocky ? Not too many can make that claim about Dempsey, Johnson, Louis or Ali ... all three (Berbick, Tate, Thomas) were larger and stronger with better skills at heavyweight than anyone Rocky ever actually fought. I'm not saying size alone dictates as you can see by carefully reading my posts. I factor size, skills and styles.

Look, I never called Berbick a coward. If anything he's more stupid than a coward. He fought the wrong gameplan. Tried mixing it up with Tyson and hurting him with a big shot to maybe change the fight (Similarly to what Spinks did who of course was practically wetting himself. Much like you do when your boyfriend comes over). Berbick's mauling, pushing, clinching, trying to land the big shot fight plan was idiotic. And of course, this one shot to change the fight plan was what you do when you know you can't beat the superior fighter. He was absolutely scared of Tyson, it's ridden all across his face. It only takes a half a brain to decipher that.
