How far do you think Chris Eubank Jnr can go?

Further than European level? The only thing he seems to lack, is power. Apart from that, do you think he will have a very good career in the sport?

 

His lack of power AND sloppy defense don't go very well together imo.

Plus, he seems like his own biggest fan - this surely can't be good.

 

Think he won't get t world level IMO, maybe get a high ranking and a title shot off his name. If that.

 

Once he meets somebody with a decent defence/chin who can punch with power he'll get stopped.

Eubank Jr is all style and hype, but no substance.

 

He needs to improve massively. Looks like he'll max out at European level. I don't think he'll ever fight for a legitimate world title on merit.

 

I agree, its not just the lack of power thats the problem at this point. Theres plenty of time to sort it out but I think he'd be seen as a less of a prospect than he is if his name wasn't Eubank.

 

Let's see. He's only had 9 pro fights and a limited amateur career.

He has lots to learn but agreed he doesn't look like a truly standout prospect. At this stage it's more about what potential he might have than what he has done so far. If he can win his next 10-15 fights his name should be enough to get him a shot at some world level shiny bauble.


He's obviously got more TV exposure than he merits.

 

I quite like Junior, he's got decent speed, a lovely left hand & is improving nicely. In a year or 2 I think he'll be around British/Euro title level.

 

Some want to move him too fast. He's got lots of nice little bits of his game which, over time, his trainer will help him to join up. I think we'll be able to really judge him when he gets to the 20-fight mark.

 

No power what so ever, he tags guys cleanly with shots that you would think he would put them to sleep with but then they keep on taking them clean, time and time again.

Also he is not a good enough pure boxer to just really on out boxing opponents his defence is too sloppy. Wish he was as good as his dad, i think he will reach British/Euro level no more.

 

We will find out this year if he is going places or not. They will improve the level of opposition and then we will learn more. Power isn't everything but he needs to make improvements in other areas. He has to show he is learning and making changes where they are needed.

Euwank is an overhyped bum. I doubt he'll progress further than domestic level, maybe he'll be a European contender at a push.

No power, no defence, get complacent when he thinks he's in control and he's an arrogant little git to boot. Can't stand him. He's a chump riding the coat tails of his much more talented old man and he somehow believes his own hype.

 

he lacks power and hasnt pushed back light middle weight fighters a full blown middle weight will walk in down he his skill full so will need to out box them which he is capable of but he love a tear up. if he is held back ( fat mick will wait for bjs to move on) will prob get a british title shot in next 12 months
