i think he will hit the canvas fast.
i hope not as i would like hw to get more exciting, but haye isnt good enough to avoid getting hit for a whole boxing match, because that is the only way he would beat wlad is on the score cards.

Hayes mouth is fast, and he was very quick to pull out of the fight with Wlad.

Wlad actually used good circling footwork most of the fight against Chagaev, certainly more than Haye against Mormeck or Fragomeni. Wlad didn't get hit by Chagaev, Haye got hit by smaller, less skilled fighters than Chagaev.

Don't forget the short left hook off the jab... it's a real killer.

He doesn't counter much but proved he can fight going back, not fight VERY well but against the guys available now he doesn't really need to improve it that much. As long as he throws going back he will counter their attacks and get them backing off. Haye will also be the fastest Wladimir has ever faced WITH power to back it up so it should make his attacks very interesting.

You haven't seen enough or you don't know what the hell you're seeing. Haye compared to Froch skill-wise!?, that's ridiculous. Haye is FAR more skilled than Froch will ever be and a successful amateur to boot. Froch is one of the worst champions out there, skill-wise, no way in hell Haye compares to that.

haye gets hit because hes very much an offensive minded fighter, comparing haye to chag is unfair, haye is much faster and more mobile than chagaev and has a larger reach

Chagaev has certainly beaten better fighters H2H. He made a career of beating bigger fighters, since he is a small HW. Haye is a big cruiser, so how much his reach and mobility is worth against a Klitschko - sized opponent remains to be seen.

I don't see Haye ever beating Felix Savon.

i did feel sorry for chag, he just isnt the same fighter, that said he would have needed a miracle full stop, hayes mobility will certainly help him against most larger opponents, but his reach is 78 inches so vlad is going to struggle to keep him on the end of that jab

The Herbie Hide from a number of years ago would have beaten David Haye. He'd have a decent chance even now.

Savon never turned pro though. The AM's were a LONG time ago.

    Yes. :good

Wladimir's hooking off of the jab against orthodox fighters ALWAYS works effectively. It will be interesting to see how Haye deals with it if they ever fought.
