Frustrating yes, a close decision that you believe should have been yours is never going to be easy to take after months of training and sacrifice. That said, its a whole lot better than a contraversial loss that can be swept under the carpet. It more or less guarantees a rematch.
I guess it depends whether you REALLY thought you won. Colin Jones got a draw for the vacant title against McCrory that was close but a lot of people thought he won but also got a rematch on the back of it as well so, as TFFP says, better that than getting a loss.
Well...for Perez tonight, its ****ing great, for Mares, its shity but its not a loss, he keeps his 0 and will win a rematch i think. This isn't the worst case for either in the long run
