His strengths are he seems very strong, his chin is very solid, he has a strong mentality in the ring, he punches quite hard, he has a good jab.

Weaknesses are he's extremely slow, both on his feet and with his hands. Many of his power punches are telegraphed. His hands are low, and he doesn't have either the reflexes or speed to avoid being hit. He also has lazy inactive periods.

Overall, he's pretty good. He's a threat to people with a questionable chin or defence. If you are quicker than him (everybody), have better skills (most) and a solid chin you shouldn't have a problem.

Andrade appears to be the litmus test for the 168 lb. division. Kessler handled him quite easily and Bute barely made it to the finish line against him. Stieglitz is a decent fighter but couldn't withstand Andrade's assault. Froch would be better off fighting someone else cuz a fight with Andrade would probably shave a few years off his career whether he wins or loses.

IMO he will not have a long title reign
    to many funadamental flaws.

exciting fighter to watch, but not that adaptable and vunerable to a lot of styles.

Damn, we must have posted at the exact same moment because our posts are near identical except for the ending.

Abraham beats him due to speed advantage (wow, never thought I would say that AA wins a fight due to that fact)...

Froch would anililate Mundine(who was KO'd by Ottke remember!!), he'd beat Bute easily,Taylor would be harder but Froch still a clear winner,50/50 fight with Kessler, lose to Calzaghe.

Taylor should fight the much avoided Pascal.

So, Froch had to give everything he had against Jean Pascal, who is far to be at the same level as Bute, but would win EASILY against Bute. Listen mate, at that level, Froch won't have a single easy fight. That just proves you're a nuthugger. Try to analyze a little bit instead being a cheerleader.

Any heavy handed fighter with decent fundamentals will tear Froch apart, including MIDDLEWEIGHTS Abraham and Pavlik. If the fight happened right away, I can see Froch battering AA around the ring a bit, but AA would catch him periodically, and I don't think you can get "caught" by Arthur more than 2 or 3 times and not get put to sleep. Right now Pavlik/froch would be very similar to Pavlik/Miranda. If Arthur or Kelly moved to 168 the right way, and then fought Froch, Carl would not see round 6.

Kessler would make mince meat out of the Froch who fought pascal. Apparently Froch had injured ribs and a sore ear drum. So he was basically damaged goods and still held his own.

Froch needs to tighten up and use the jab from the get-go!

As for Taylor, that would be a 50/50 in my books.
