Somewhere in-between probs, I really rate him personally, he made a world champion look very very average last night in his own back yard. By elite do you mean can he become the best in the division?
I thought Crawford was boxing within himself last night as well, I think he could have probably got the knockout if he really forced it, no disrespect to Ricky he has had a great career and can come back for sure.
I agree, if he needed to get the stoppage he looked capable of it. Very professional performance from Crawford. He was waiting for the Burns storm which unfortunately last night was nothing more than a light breeze.
I'm not sure if he could get the KO he looked to go for it in that burst in the 12th but couldn't budge Ricky who is tough as nails. Crawford will be a decent world champion not Elite and may lose the WBO belt but he will win a few world titles.
He went for the late burst in the 12th but could of done so from 8th or 9th onwards and I think that would of been enough time. I dont think he would of knocked him out but certainly a ref stoppage.
The scary thing about Crawford is his economy of movement. He's super slick but not flash, he doesn't waste any energy. He could have fought another 10 rounds in the Burns fight yet he did enough work to slip almost everything and he countered at will. That minimal really precise movement is a sign of a really top fighter in my view. He never got out of his armchair Saturday night. I'm expecting him to clear out the division based on that performance.
Yeah I agree, people think because he doesnt duck all over the place and use his feet to run around the ring hes not skilled He literally wastes no unneeded energy, he only ducks when he needs and has a nice range of punches, I love the way he would throw a punch and knew Burns would reply back so ducked then came with another one straight after He sets nice traps, he doesnt look amazing but he nulifies his opponent's offense
amen to this , a lw bhop he reminds me of in the way he wastes nothing and his timing and distance seem top drawer
Hard to tell when he's fighting people who are Euro level, comeback once he starts fighting people at world level. If I had to guess, he'll end up like a Bradley type fighter, close to elite but just not quite up there with the Mayweather's of the world. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=185gy_yWeFY
Maybe he should fight someone from your gym Redman, even better get trained there lol how many area titles has your gym won in the pros?
World titles my gym fat boy, world titles, not your blag WBO Frank Waren titles either. Real ones chubbs.
He beat the best uk fighter at the weight. But maybe one of the poorest world champions for a fair few years. Burns did extremely well as a 2 weight champ. I just dont see him rising there again. He will fight for a title or 2 but come up short
Well name name gob****, you ain't got the balls to even post under your own name. You will be one of these guys who's done a session in a gym found it to hard but want to live of the experience by saying I train in that gym, bull**** boy Redman
