    Linares vs Valero
    Linares vs Rocky Juarez
    Linares vs Chris John
    Linares vs Barrera (today's Barrera)

    :-(

If you're going to insult the guy like that, you should at least make a decent post telling him why he is wrong. So far you haven't. And the fact you completely ignored the Larios fight makes me wonder if you need to study Linares some more.

I haven't seen John fight in a while though, so I'm unsure about that fight. As for Barrera, that's an interesting one too. I don't know how far gone MAB is at this stage, but he should take it.

Me and Pharoah have our history.

Larios was shot by the time Linares got to him. He's nowhere near elite at this stage, but Linares's win proves he wasn't just a hype-job like Khan at least, even if he won't ever be an elite IMO either.

definitely worlds of potential..he is ridiculously talented, but I'd say that saying he's just as good as a young Roy in terms of potential and can beat pacquiao right now is quite a bit of a stretch just as saying that Linares is a featherweight ray robinson.

Not as big a stretch as the latter, but yes definitely a stretch.

First of all, Kenny Adams and Emanuel Steward are not idiots. Second of all, don't believe the bull**** of a hater. He's inventing arguments at this point. He was shitting all over Linares well before he had heard any comparisons.

Steve Kim said that he expects to see Linares in the P4P #1 slot at some point in the next 3-5 years.

Steward repeated it, preferenced the statement "like a Mexican Sugar Ray Robinson" for the HBO audience, and went on to effectively endorse that statement later on. Kellerman also repeated the reference and made it very obvious that he felt it had some validity by his comments during the Larios fight.

Are you saying that Kenny Adams is an idiot? Do you know who he is?

Even if Sugar Ray Robinson himself said Linares was as good as Sugar Ray Robinson it would be over the top.

but you can believe what you like, and i will believe what i like.

I've been a fan of Linares for a long time, but i obviously don't think he's the goat

Relax, buddy. Did I say that's what I believe? I understand where you're coming from. You're not one of these idiots. You're obviously one of the sharper observers.
