You under-rate his intelligence, I actually think he intends to take the punches that he does in order to break his opponents. Compare it to anything - if you are playing a computer game and you can't complete it, you eventually give up. Margarito plays the hard man in order to get the opponent to submit to him - Cintron was a classic example.

Any fighter is entitled to use their attributes in order to be successful - Floyd used defence, Zab speed, Jackson power - Margarito is perfectly entitled to block punches with his face and smile.......

Dam right feller. It don't matter how he fights or how he looks doing it so long it's getting the job done. That feller Malignaggi sure looks a lot flashier doing his thing but he ain't been beating Cotto now has he??
