You must wonder...how many people who take as many flush telegraphed shots as Margarito does would stay on their feet for as long as he does if they only had a very good chin, rather than an iron chin, say?

he looked exceptional before. but with questions on his hand wrap, am downgrading him back to neutral for now, or average as i voted.

its tough to determine what effect his hand wraps had on his opponents shots. if he weakened them enough so that their punches were no longer as effective, why rate him high at all? let him start at a level ground and work it up again, if ever.

but if proven guilty. **** him, he should be banned for life.

No other welter would have been standing after 8 rounds of a savage beating from a puncher who was able to load up like Mosley was.

Not to mention eating all of Williams, Cintron & Cotto's shots in his previous three fights (ignore Johnson!).

Those are three pretty heavy hitters, and Marg has NO defence.

I voted very good, but would change to Iron.

The real question is, who's is better - Margo or Andrade?

..and that is for best chin in the world.

As of right now I am inclined to say "Good". Yes, he has absorbed punishment and walked through it, BUT, and pay close attention... the FIRST TIME that we know of that he verifiably was not using loaded wraps, he was knocked senseless. So, when Margarito cannot deter people from engaging him by using loaded wraps, he cannot take the full power of his opponents.

Right now is chin his "in the air" as to where it stands, but I will mark it as Average, for the reasons I listed.

I must admit I'm pleased with the results of the vote...the correct answer is somewhere in between "very good" and "iron", I think.;)
