We ALL know he is an artful dodging, low risk high reward, complete ****ing arsehole will no bollocks. He ain't tested himself but he has looked good againsed fighters with obvious physical disadvantages and skill-sets. he is what he is.........meh can't be arsed to write much more on the ****er. I'm fed up of hearing about him already actually, no fight has been made yet and I am already sick of the ****. He is only in the sport to make a **** load of cash so he can afford to get himself cloned so he can **** himself every night. FACT!
The second fight was scored closer than the first fight, utter ****ing madness! Did he say he lost the fight after? Or did he say I did not win the fight?
You can only judge a fighter by his opponents. Oscar was a B fighter at the time and gave him all he could handle. Hatton and Judah also B fighters at the time Ricky was better in my eyes but gave a size disadvantage coming up to 147. Marquez was still considered A but he was 3 divisions past his optimal weight. Let's just say it like this, if Shane, Cotto, Margarito, or even Pac man faced these guys at the same weight that Floyd did, I would expect a much more dominating performance out of any of them.
Floyds resume does not match his ability yet. With his ability he should be tearing guys apart and not getting hit too much himself in the process. I still think he beats manny pacquiao by SD mainly because he will refuse to engage.
it seems u have only recently started watching boxing...Floyd was a beast from 130-140...he tested himself many times against quality opposition from 130-140...The problem is you probably started watching boxing a year or two ago and you only know or seen his recent fights
Shut the **** up with your analysis.. You cant even man up on simple avatar bet... COTTO lost man up ****!
its good not to get hit, that was the original name of the game, dont take to personal.he got that from all the great defensive fighters of the past and his daddy.its not whos got the best chin contest either.as far as good he is, just look at the fighters who has beatin him and what he has done in his career. also look at other fighters who took shots to please the fans from the past and see how they are now, he would like to have all his marbles when his career is really over. i think you were thinking about the tuff man contest they use to have back in the day, they dont do those much these days.
I couldn't have said better. The hypothetical "oh he beats him" is bs if the guy is a top fighter in the division. Get out there, do the damn thing, and leave only doubts to the dilusional. He has done such at 130, where I consider him an ATG. If feel he did so at 135 too. He showed he had the potential at 140 but the truly meaningful fights never came off(Tszyu, Hatton, and Cotto...but it seemed these fights were just not in the cards at the time) At 147, a historically illustrious division, Floyd has shown the same magnificent skills but against not the best opposition available there. His ability as a fighter will cause people to compare him to the greats of the past. His merit as of right now at welterweight in no way matches SRR or SRL. This can be solely based on the fact all his wins but two(Baldomir and I'll count Judah because he had five fights at welter prior to fighting Floyd so he had reasonable time to grow into the weight) were fighters who recently moved up in weight(Mitchell, Hatton, Marquez...though some allowance is allowed for Marquez fight with Floyd being off nearly two years. However, pending whether Floyd lost anything which he didn't, it went as expected) None of these men were proven elite at the weight. The two who were(Judah and Baldomir) had glaring flaws that meant they could only dream of beating a fighter of Floyd's caliber. Baldomir had all the determination in the world but none of the speed or versatility to pull it off. On the other hand, Judah had all the tools in terms of ability/talent but lacked the mindset once the tables turned due to Mayweather ad******g. That type of fighter, no matter how talented will never beat Mayweather. Floyd showed in a well publicized sparring session a few years before they met in the ring. How does Mayweather rectify all this you ask? By cherrypicking...cherrypicking only the best welterweights available to add to his resume as those on his list who have tried but fallen to him. Do that and then you too can be truly seen as equal to the welterweight legends of the past. And it won't be hypothetical either.
FLoyd is the second coming of Naseem Hamed, his best win is against Ricky Hatton. Once he steps up to the place and fights a great fighter in Manny, he is going to get kncocked out
