Mormeck spent most of his career below 180 pounds and is notorious for gassing. He is a very poor man's Jirov.

All I know is some make far too much of the amateurs and what happened there.

Haye's been on the right track and I'd love to see a PRO rematch.

Solis? NEEDS ACTIVITY!!!! Better get busy this could be an interesting rematch in say a year:yep

BTW? Get off that damn Povetkin vs bYRD it was a lack luster fight and if it wasnt Byrd's dad? It goes 12. It wasnt a spectacular stoppage by ANY MEANS.

The good thing about Solis is he's fast while being overweight. Think how fast he will be when he is in shape. Solis has weight problems but he's been coming in better shape weighing less in every fight in his career. I think Haye is good but I don't know if he can be a good heavy weight. If they fought at Crusierweight I would favor Haye but I think if they fought at Heavyweight I think Solis KO him in 7.

    Well spoken,alcaldemb!
Mormeck can punch though.I can still remember his encounter with Gourov who was ahead on points when Mormeck luckily landed one of his powerful shot.Otherwise he would have lost that fight IMO.
Mormeck is a very good scalp, but that doesnt mean that Haye will really be a mighty force at the big boys' league.
I would love to watch Haye take on someone like Corey Sanders. The huge American behemoth can take a punch. And he can bang a little bit as well.

Solis is good at 250 lbs, but nothing special, can't see him into the top 10, but if he dropped down to 230-225, then it could be another story.

One thing about Solis, the guy has fantastic skills for a heavy, there is no denial. I really hope that he gets his **** together fitness wise, because he can play a big part in making the heavyweight division much more exciting.

Solis will amount to an average hw and nothing more .... he doesnt have the power to test the top guys, is out of shape and likes motivation. He could possibly make top ten ... I'd try matching him with somebody liek Ray Austin, Timur Ibragimov ... maybe even Jameel Mccline and see how he fairs, after on of those we'll have a clearer idea.
