[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZITUqqgjtac[/ame] Watch the final left hook he throws and how much momentum is generated, as if the weight of whatever is in the glove is leading his arm around and not the other way around. I think Trinidad cheated most of his career, that's why his knock outs came late and he usually got dropped early(not against this no-hopper though). As his gloves hardened with his sweat and whatever liquids they used in the locker room his punches had greater effect and as his opponents weakened their punches had NO effect. Hence the trinidad, late round comebacks, like against Reid and Vargas.
you changed the discussion topic to joe calzaghe you fragile little tranny queen :nut we were discussing what a cheat tito trinidad is, and about what a disgrace it is that fanboys like yourself are prepared to sweep proven cheating under the carpet and pretend that it never happenned, pretend that cheating shouldn't badly tarnish the achievements of disgraces to the sport like trinidad, toney, jones, mosley, and margarito :deal still if you want to go ahead and discuss calzaghe in this thread, then go ahead, you've proven time and again that you cannot debate and that you are easily cluster pwned with the use of irrefutable scientific facts do us all a favour laaaarrrrrrnnnnnnce uppercunt and leave the real boxing talk to the misters around here while you whack off over your huge collection of tranny porn :dead:-(
it is proven that he loves cocaine - its fact. whether he used it during his career i don't know but i'm more concerned about ped's techks and why a fighter would feel the need to take ped's or cheat by incorrectly rappin a boxers fists.
Tito had his limitations, but what he did well, was pretty hard to negate, cause he was a world class puncher who was consistent. Tito could not only punch hard, but he had excellent stamina to be able to punch hard consistently and not get tired. Tito could be relentless when he got into his robotic stalker mode (Vargas), and its okay running like what Oscar did, but the reason Oscar lost the rounds he ran in, is not just because he was told to get on his bike, it was also because Tito applied that relentless pressure he was capable of, if DLH whilst "running" was going to stop and nail Tito, he would be taking a chance of getting hit himself, simply because of how much Tito was bringing it. Hopkins probably has the best ring generalship in Boxing today, not only that, he 's a natural LHW who boiled down to MW for years, so when he hits Tito, its more significant, as it sends a clear message, I hit harder than DLH, Vargas, so dont think you can keep walking in my front door to pressure me. Hopkins also knew how to break Tito's rhythm up, he recognized that Tito had to get set to punch, that he liked to edge his left foot closer before uncorking the left hook, so when he saw Tito doing this, he would break his concentration with a straight right hand, or a jab, and move. Tito beat skilled fighters like Vargas, Oba Carr, Camacho, David Reid, Whitaker, now you dont beat fighters like that if you dont know how to deal with a few stylistic problems. People seem to think all you had to do was move side to side against him and its a sure fire win. Yes Tito was one dimensional, but his one dimension, was extremely hard to negate, as he was a big WW, now the fact he moved up in weight, will have had an effect on how much of more effective he would of been against bigger men, where by he did'nt have that extra size, power advantage over some of his WW opponents. I believe Tito was one dimensional, but that he could adapt somewhat, as in he's no where near as one dimensional as some people make out, but because of Tito's freakish power, against smaller men (welterweights)he was able to overcome stylistic problems due to that extra power, size, but as he moved up, that gradually became harder to do. I mean think about it, take Hopkins, boil him down to a 147 lbs naturally, and do you think he would of been as dominant against Tito? im not saying he wouldn't of won, but.........
