How good was Golota actually ?

    Golata is like so many others. Had fantastic skill and was strong, clearly elite potential based off what he did to Bowe, but lacked the mental fortitude needed to steady the waters when he reached the elite level.

    I watched some of his fights recently and I can't believe how bad of a finisher he was

    Golota possessed skills but not mental stability and that's it...

    He was a very good well schooled boxer. Unfortunately he was a mental midget. He also had trouble with big punchers who could back him up regardless of his mental state. That's a reason I believe a better version of Bowe would have knocked him out. Golota caught Bowe at the right time - after his three wars with Holyfield.
