    I saw him fight once or twice on utube and he looked the goods but everyone kept beating him

    :lol:I watched one fight of his and he was terrible. Can't remember who he fought though, I think it was on that Holyfield vs Williams undercard.

    Sadly, Long was born into an era of huge fighters and even stronger punchers.

    Watching some of his early fights when he was fighting Joe Louis "bum of the month club" type fighters was cool. Long would impose the jab and KO them or chase them throughout the fight.

    When he moved up he became the journeyman the he is.:think

    He coulda been the stuff of legend though had he been born in the 30s.

    We'd be saying that the K2 woulda been killed in his era.:lol::lol::lol:

    awful fighter almost 0 co ordination and had next to no chin.
    Spaked by audley when people thought harrison might amount to something. Long was awful

    there is over a half dozen (maybe 8+) pro heavyweight 7 footers.
