How good was Michael Spinks?

    I got him in my top 5- 10 Lightheavys of all time, he was bum rushed by tyson, could happen to anyone and he was a little intimadated vs Mike...still he was a great lightheavy I put him below Moore, Conn above Foster but close

    A great 175 champion. He is a definite top 5. He can't quite make it to Moore and Charles territory because he didn't beat the likes of Braxton multiple times but in ability he's as good as anyone.

    The Jinx was a great punch and he had great all round ability. he was also an intelligent fighter. One thing that few have mentioned here is that he was quite a dirty fighter. Elbows especially.

    Spinks was never going to last long at HW and he knew it which is why he carefully got himself the big Tyson pay day and retired for good. He was not going to risk fighting a Bonecrusher or a Bruno and ruining the money fight
