I have plentry to argue but you never listen to anything the same as the other wlad nuthugger's.
If you have noticed wlad has been down in his carrer numerous times and has looked mentally weak even against weak guys like peter, if you think he could stand toe to toe with lewis when he was dropped so easily by peter why would that be?
In regards to the guys lewis has lost two he has avenged both losses something wlad hasn't done, also rahman and mccall are alot better than the guys that have beaten wlad that is also true. Mccall has one of the best chins at heavyweight ever and would provide a tough test to any heavyweight in his prime.
In regards to the lewis knockouts he wasn't even koed against mccall and was back on his feet ready to fight, in regards to rahman he obviously hadn't trained and taunted rahman and get hit flush with a huge shot. This is lewis's own fault but if you think that means he has a weak chin what kind of chin does wlad have?
Lewis has stood toe to toe with the likes of briggs a big puncher and laughed at his best shots and then knocked him out, when has wlad ever shown this kind of punch resistance?
In regards to the vitali fight lewis was well past his rpime and hadn't trained yet he still beat him and before you say it was a cut his face was torn to bits and he was getting rocked by some huge uppercuts. The chances are that if the fight had gone on lewis would have stopped him, this isn't a fact but it is the likely result.
I think wlad is a good fighter and have before said i think he could be called an alltime great already at the edge of the top 20 but i don't think he is even with a guy who has shown alot more than him so far in his career, maybe in a few years time when wlad has beaten a few more top ranked fighter's i would change my mind but until then i can't see how anyone could have lewis as anything but a favourite.

Peter dropped Wlad but couldn't KO...Wlad went down 3 times got up and won by a good margin... no mental toughness there

You go pull Sanders off the 16th tee and I'll grab Ross Puritty out of the local pub so that Wlad can avenge those losses... Sound good?

You don't like his chin? 52 fights...never been KO'd I'd say it's working for him right now so why go to the past...I mean Sanders got him good no doubt but Wlads moved on and up from there just like Lewis did

Peter is a very limited guy i respect the fact that he got up and won but that isn't like standing toe to toe with a rpime lennox lewis.

Exactly. Which is why I chose Lewis to TKO Rocky if they ever fought.

    1. Lewis laughed at Shannon's best shots? It looked to me like Briggs hurt him badly early and Lewis stumbled backwards into the ropes.

    2. Neither Lewis or Wladimir have weak chins

    3. Wladimir is just now entering his prime.

No, to be like Lewis you get back in the ring with the guy while he still has something left. He could have rematched Purrity long ago. He could have gotten a rematch with Sanders too if he wanted it. I enjoy watching Vlad fight. I rank him very high in history. I'd say just inside the top 15. I rate him quite high in the h2h. The issue that I have is you guys saying that he is 50/50 with Lewis. Lewis would have run over Vlad. An old and out of shape Lewis already beat the better fighter of the two brothers on a few days notice. Vlad is an excellent fighter but he has a bad chin, period. If his punch resistence was better I would call it 60/40. Lewis has better movement and much better punch variety. I would actually give the younger more aggressive Vlad a better chance against Lewis.

In the final round Briggs threw a combo and tagged Lewis. Lennox smiled and tagged him with a two piece. Briggs hit the canvas.

Lewis would go 1-1 with the Rock IMO. Rock would get through with a straight right and Lewis was a sucker for that punch. In best of three I would picky Rocky to win two.

Wlads chin would be his biggest downfall when taking on some of the great fighters of the 90s, I mean Brewster had him rocked with a stiff jab in there first fight in the 3rd round. I remember Roy Jones laughing saying a Heavyweight with that type of chin will never become champ again, yes Roy Jones was wrong, but that just goes to show the impact of Manny being in his corner. His clinching helped him to get out of dangerous spots, like against Peter in 05.

I think Boxrec got him between 40-45 all time, but I would lean closer to 30-35 because of how weak the division is.

Like it or not, this is the Wladmir Klitschko era. If Klitschko doesn't lose in the next 3-4 years, he'll probably be top 10-15 all time.

If he can unify the three belts and defend them 10 times and doesn't lose again he might crack the top 20.
