If he does that then he is well into the top 10.

No fighter has been so trashed as this man. And, thanks to his cornermen, he deserved it. The three KO's would have been prevented if Manny had been in his corner. Now, we see, he actually does have star quality.I don't think anyone in the division takes his bombs. Everyone mentions his weak chin-the fact his, he had no defense in earlier fights.
Had he been managed by American managers early on, you wouldn't be talking about his "weak" chin.

He has been down 5 times and TKO'd once when Manny was in his corner, 3 against Peter, 1 against Brewster, and he got knocked down against Williamson. The man has a weak chin, not even Lewis' legs would of buckled when hit with a stiff jab like Wlad did against Brewster in there first fight.

If he beats Sultan, defends against Thompson, and Povetkin, and unfies one more with Chag, then he is up there with anyone.

When you re talking about Sultan, Chag, and Povetkin, you are talking about incredibly succesful amatuers who have translated there years of skill an experience into professional titles.

You tell me? Peter's face was a human battering ram and took the beating of the century. You make a good point, though, he had Manny in his corner and still got knocked down once.

Look i rate wlad and rate him quite higly but it is foolish to think his chin was as good as lewis, just look at how many times wlad has been down and that sums it up for me.

Wlad has been knocked down 11 times and TKO'd 3 times, the stats speak for themselves.

I agree he is a good Heavyweight and could probably be good in any era, but his chin is weak and that is a fact. Wlad is a dominant Heavyweight in a weak era, I will give him credit for that much.

He buckled under the pressure against Purrity:deal. The guy took all of his shots and kept marching forward behind a high guard which forced Vlad to punch himself out while trying to hold Purrity off:deal. Sanders moved around and walked Vlad into straight left hands over and over until the fight was stopped:deal. Brewster took Vlads best and pressured Vlad into a panic attack:deal. Williamson countered Vlad with a right hand that dropped him:deal. Peter chased Vlad across the ring and tagged him right on the kisser and Vlad went down:deal. The other two Peter kd's were Vlads fault because Vlad was turning his back but the blows were still in vulnerable areas. Other KD's I have not seen and will not comment on.:hi::hi::hi::hi::hi::hi::hi::hi::hi::hi::hi::hi::hi:

Wouldn't make much difference. Every time somebody takes a swing at him Klitschko runs or clinches. All Marciano did was windmill knockout punches, so Klitschko would spend most of his time running or clinching. When the clinching starts Marciano would begin headbutting, elbowing or nutpunching. That is the old fashioned way of discouraging that huggybear style.

Wlad is not ahead of Bowe, at least Bowe beat an ATG in his prime, thats more than I could say for Wlad. Bowe only lost once to Holyfield, his records like 40 something and -1. Boxrec has Bowe at around 35 all time and Wlad at around 45 all time, Bowe is still a little better than Wlad at this moment on the all time list IMO.

You know better than to compare Ali to Wlado, Cooper never knocked out Ali unlike a guy that has almost as many wins as he does losses like Purrity who put Wlad on his ass and ended up TKO'n him.:yep
